A: Travelfusion's development of powerful and intelligent search engine technology has enabled our users to quickly and easily search and compare some of the cheapest travel deals available online. With our meta search functionality, you'll find yourself able to search through hundreds of different travel combinations in no time. We make it simple to find the best deals, cheapest options and the best values available. Travelling is what we love best, so Travelfusion has developed tools that search differently from our competitors. By looking at more airports, more rail stations and multi modal trip options, we give you more choices and powerful filters that will help you find the perfect trip. Also, we never charge any hidden fees or extra taxes so the fares you see are what you get!

Q: How do I know which flight to choose when there are so many options available?

A: With Travelfusion's powerful search model, you can quickly and simply filter your results to find exactly what you are looking for on your next trip. Do you prefer one airline or airport over another? Use our airline filters to select your favourite and show only those results. Do you not care as much about how you get there but just want to find the cheapest fare available? We pair planes and trains and look at all possible combinations for you. Our unique filtering and trend tools will help you quickly find the cheapest time to travel. Are you hoping to go to a specific destination but you can go any time? Simply choose your departure and arrival cities to activate our price trends chart to compare fares for your selected route and see when you can find the cheapest deal. Once you've reached our results page, use the "compare dates" tab on our to have a look at our cached fare data to be sure you've found the best available deal for your destination. Try our "liked results" feature on the results page to move results to the top of the page and make it easier to compare some favourite results quickly.

Q: What are the search filters?

A: Our easy to use search filters allow you to take control of your search results by giving you the power to easily modify your search parameters on our results page to suit your needs. The tabs at the top of the page will allow you to adapt the search results to match your requirements and will update your results automatically with a simple click or drag of your mouse. Is time an issue? Search for only direct flights by ticking that box. Are you happy to have multiple legs to your journey to ensure that it's the cheapest? Allow for a longer journey by modifying the trip duration bar. If its available on your selected route, we've even given you the option to book a train for overground travel! Travelfusion's tools are simple, user friendly and all will ultimately help you in finding the best possible deal for your upcoming trip.

Q: How can I quickly share my travel plans with family and friends?

A: Hoping to catch a ride home from the airport with a friend? Desperate for a city break and hoping to convince your partner you can afford one? Use our great share features to spread the word to family and friends. To share a specific flight or rail journey, email the trip details using our "email this result" function embedded in each result row on the right side. Your result will be waiting in your loved one's email inbox within minutes. You can also use this function to remind yourself of interesting results that you'd like to book later. If you want to share travel plans with a wider group of friends, use the "share on Facebook" link on the right side of the page. Instantly, all of your friends will know to be jealous of your travel adventures!

Q: I've noticed a small "two" icon next to my result? What does this mean and why would I make two bookings?

A: Travelfusion.com has pioneered a "double booking" technology that pairs two one way flights and lets users make two bookings in order to benefit from the lowest prices available online. That's why you've noticed these results with a small "two" icon next to them - these reservations will need to be made in two bookings. If you choose one of these trips, you'll notice two "book" buttons in the results. You will need to follow both of these links to book each leg of your trip. A unique system, double bookings ensure the very best prices available and allows our users even options to save on the cost of travel.

Q: When I select a flight I am redirected to another page for a different company? Why is this?

A: As Travelfusion.com's system relies on third party suppliers flight and rail trip information, we send customers directly to these third party sites to complete bookings. Once you have completed your search on Travelfusion.com and select a flight, clicking on this flight will take you directly to the fare page on our supplier's site and you make your booking from there.
